Sutton Building & Design
Refurbishments, new homes and extensions across the New Forest
& Beyond
Sutton Building & Design is a building contractor based in the New Forest. We carry out whole-house refurbishments, new homes, extensions and work to listed and period properties, from Lymington and Brockenhurst across to Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and the north of the Forest.
Most of our work comes through architects and from clients who have been recommended to us. We build to the architect's drawings, price the work in detail before we start, and set out a programme so you know what happens and when. The site is kept tidy and well-run throughout, and you are kept informed as the job moves on.
You have one point of contact throughout, so the job is run by someone who knows it from the first visit to handover. We take pride in getting the best result for every client, and we will go the extra mile to make sure that happens.

Priced properly, programmed before we start, and kept informed
Priced properly
You get an itemised cost breakdown, not a single figure. You can see what is included and what is not, and so can your architect.
Programmed before we start
We set out the build programme before work begins, so you know the sequence and roughly when each trade is on site. We list the key deliverables, so any items you need to supply are on site when they are needed.
Kept informed
We keep you informed through your preferred method of communication, including an online cloud photo album so you can follow the job and refer back to it. Any change is priced and agreed in writing before we carry it out.
